Dick and Don's Cabal: Clever Graphic

Share / Recommend - Comment - Print - Tuesday, Nov 01 2005, 9:42AM

This is an interesting graphic representation of the Cheney-Rumsfeld network of fellow travelers in and outside the administration.

If you click on the graphic, it will download a more readable and larger version.

Do we know if Fitzgerald requested a new grand jury last week?

That's a really useful graphic in terms of explaining these relationships to people who don't follow these things as closely as we do.

I wish someone could put together a larger, more detailed, set of these -- including OVP, Feith's (former) shop at the Pentagon, and Bolton's (former) shop at State. It really is remarkable once you put the whole picture together, and a graphic like this makes it a lot easier to understand.

Such a schematic, viewed on an internet blog, completely belies any argument about the existence of a mainstream "liberal media". The fact that we are not seeing such graphics on the front pages of our nation's newspapers perfectly underscores the dissappearance of the fourth estate. But worse, it drives home the immensely powerful nature of the beast that has corrupted and derailed our democracy.

Without the internet, what would be the extent of our knowledge? Enjoy it. For soon they will start to shut us down, because information is power, and we know too much.

BTW, Steve. Thank you for your efforts.

check out the visual chart over at the uggabugga website......simply amazing ....it encompasses a lot of the information from Kevin phillip's recent book about the bushes as well ....

In this chart, Bush is physically portrayed below Rumsfeld and Cheney in a circle the same size and at the same level as Rove, Libby, and Wolfowitz. Then there is this label: "President of the United States. Desired war to advance domestic agenda. Deferred commander-in-chief responsibilities to Cheney."

I have never heard it said that way; but seeing in print this way is shocking to me.

Great chart, but one thing strikes me as odd. There is no relationship line of any type between Joe Wilson and Valerie Plame.

Can't be hurling the cabal out of office and into jail until we can get these parents as worried about their country as they are about their kids.

Wonder how many of these parents are Bush supporters? How many have "Support our Troops" bumper stickers?

One thing this misses is Libby's highly-prized title of "Assistant to the President." The press hasn't picked up on this, but that's not a title that Addington's been awarded. In fact, he's not even a "Special Assistant," the next rung down.

It matters that Libby was a top-level deputy to Bush, as well as to Cheney. And it's an important sign of Bush's effort to distance himself from Cheney that Addington is not being accorded similar status.
