My former boss, Jeff Bingaman, has won decisively in the New Mexico senate race.

He is no media hound, but he is the smartest guy in the Senate when it comes to good public policy. Congatulations.

Do you think your former boss would be upset if he knew you spelt his name wrong?

Matt -- when I make them, you get a TWN coffee mug. You bet he'd be ticked. Can you tell I'm juggling a few too many things tonight...

best, steve

Oh, we'd definitely have to hang this blog post (which seems to have been corrected now, but anyways...) near the water cooler, next to the letters to "Jeff Bingham," "Pete V. Bingaman," etc.

Those mugs are vaporware as far as I'm concerned.

Ben Rosengart gets two mugs when they are done as he is one of the winners of an old competition. My bad.... more soon!!

Good ... my girlfriend broke a mug yesterday, so she gets one. ;-)

I'm sorry for you that your guy Chafee lost, but as I said to someone earlier, I'd rather see Whitehouse win and Webb lose than the other way 'round ... because Webb wants the Dems to try to win over "Bubba", and I think that's a terrible idea.

Sweet! I love coffee mugs!

I really hope this Whitehouse guy has his head on as straight as Chafee, whose only fault really was just being a republican. He probably does--I hear he's from a long line of blue-blooded diplomats, old money, just like Chafee, and that the two families are close friends.
