indeed I "grew up" on both cultural icons (though never a fan of fawcett's her photo/poster was EVERYWHERE) I am keenly aware that the dangerous "thriller" lives many of us led from the seventies well into the early nineties are exacting their toll now.

Wow, 3 icons in 2 days, As a child Ed McMahon was of a forbidden existence for me as he was on Late with Johnny Carson whom my Mother said was vulgar.Farrah Fawcett was the reason I knew I loved women from an early age. I spent many years listening to Michael Jackson and Jackson 5 cassettes as I grew older My musical influences changed but I still enjoy hearing any of MJ's pre 1990's music. Rest In Peace.

I still think it`s a lie to get people`s attention cuz there were many more similar reports of his death, from two years ago, fours years ago; my point is it could be another false report since there were many false reports in the past. If it`s a false report, then that person should seriously get a life, and stop ruining others'. I am on Michael Jackson`s side even though I`m not a huge fan of his. some may remember the crazy antics and controversey but this is the greatest entertainer that ever breathed air!he's had audiences bigger than presidents! sold more records alone than alot of other labels combined artists! and made the best videos ever for the best songs at the time ( and maybe ever) from beatles ownership and rights to their music, songs with jay z , biggie, janet, paul, on and on and on and on. Michael Jackson was not born into royalty, but he may be the most loved "King" in history!!!

Jackson, like so many geniuses, could not avoid the eccentricity that is so often attached to genius. For all his bizzarre and detestable traits and habits, he was truly and greatly gifted. I always pitied him, for it is a real shame that such genius comes at such a high price. I hope he has found peace in this next stage of his journey.

i thought the jackson 5 were great... michael did some good stuff too on his own.. he was completely overshadowed by james brown who he patterned himself after, but a lot of young kids don't know much about that i guess... anyway, i really liked some of his music... he is a bit of a poster person for the jw religion which i find a tad scary, but maybe others aren't interested in that... either way too bad he died suddenly of a heart attack..

The mysterious Jackson doctor, supposedly hired to travel with Jackson on his upcoming European tour, apparently left the scene without his car before parametics arrived, this licensed doctor didn't sign a death certificate, so now the LA cornoner is involved.

"Michael Jackson died after being given a shot of a powerful narcotic which he was receiving daily, according to the blog that first reported news of his passing.

“A close member of Michael Jackson’s family has told us Jackson received a daily injection of a synthetic narcotic similar to morphine — Demerol — and yesterday he received a shot at 11:30 AM,” TMZ reported Friday.

“Family members are saying the dosage was ‘too much’ and that’s what caused his death,” they added.

If Jackson was given the shot at 11:30 AM Pacific time, it would have been about an hour before he was pronounced dead. The singer reportedly suffered slowed breathing in the moments leading up to his death.

According to the site, the live-in doctor who gave Jackson the shot is now missing.

The doctor, who remains unnamed, allegedly left his vehicle at Jackson’s home from which it was towed last night.

Wrote TMZ Friday morning: “Law enforcement sources tell us a BMW belonging to the doctor was towed from Jackson’s home last night. Cops are looking to interview the doc.”

“A law enforcement source says the doctor gave Jackson an injection before he died,” the blog alleged. “Jackson reportedly may have OD’d on Demerol. As we first reported, family members were concerned that Jackson was taking too much morphine.”

Police Say Michael Jackson 'Heavily Addicted' to Oxycontin

LAPD Investigation Heats Up As Detectives Search for Mystery Doctor

Michael Jackson was "heavily addicted" to the powerful pain killer Oxycontin and received "daily doses" of it and of another pain killer, Demerol, according to a senior law enforcement official briefed on the initial investigation of his death.

The Los Angeles police were told Jackson received an injection of Demerol one hour before his death, the official said.

The information and other emerging details, make it almost certain the Los Angeles Police Homicide and Robbery Division will launch a full investigation into the circumstances of the pop singer's death. The squad was given the assignment initially because of the "high profile" nature of the case.

As part of the broadening investigation, police detectives are searching for Dr. Conrad Murray, a Las Vegas cardiologist, who was reportedly with Jackson yesterday but has not been located since.

A car towed by police from the Jackson home was registered in the name of Dr. Murray's sister, Susan Mary Rush of Houston, Texas.

"There is no immediate indication of a crime," a police official told ABC News, "but because of the high profile nature of the case the robbery and homicide detectives with review all evidence and work with the coroner's office."

Los Angeles police were reported to be seeking a doctor who was with Jackson when he collapsed yesterday at his rented mansion in the Bel-Air section of Los Angeles.

The LAPD is also reportedly searching for a doctor who may be able to help in their investigation. Police say that they towed a BMW owned by the doctor from Jackson's home.

"We have not been able to interview the doctor yet. His car was impounded because it may contain medications or other evidence that may assist the coroner in determining the cause of death," said LAPD spokesperson Karen Rayner.

The Los Angeles coroner began an autopsy this morning although it could take several days before full results are known.

A Jackson family attorney, Brian Oxman, told ABC News today he had no hard evidence but that he feared Jackson died from "overmedications." On Good Morning America, Oxman said, "Drugs had been part of Jackson's life since the 1980's" and said he had warned family members that "if Jackson dies of overmedication I will not hold my tongue."

Federal agents said they also could become involve if there is evidence that a pharmaceutical drug played a role in his death, much as they did in the case of heiress Anna Nicole Smith who died of an accidental overdose of prescription drugs.

California attorney general Jerry Brown worked with the federal Drug Enforcement Administration in the Smith case and ultimately brought charges against her lawyer, Howard K. Stern, and a doctor. Brown said Smith and been drugged to the point of "stupefaction" and called Stern "a primary enabler."

There is a hearing scheduled for later this summer to determine whether prosecutors have enough evidence to proceed to trial. Both Stern and Smith's doctor have plead not guilty to the charges.

I'd love to see a list of all the people who have been leeching off of Michael Jackson's wealth, all the while allowing his opiate addiction. What a sad life it must have been.

Here is a partial list of my accusations.  It will be argued that
some of these things are not technically "crimes."  I think that
irrelevant. These specifically apply to Iraq.  You may add your
own and I may comment further:
- "Planning and waging aggressive war.." Keitel and Jodl were
executed for this.  In this case the "aggressive war was against
Iraq, a country that, however ill governed, had not attacked the
United States and that did not have WMD weapons any longer. 
This latter point was in the process of being proven by the UN's
inspectors when the miscreants under dicussion succeeded, with
the help of White House staff still in the public square, of
deliberately propagandizing the American people by making a
false case against Iraq in the public media.  By carrying out
these actions those charged involved the United States in a
senseless war in which many thousands of American military
personnel were killed or mutilated.
-  Those charged directly intervened in the operational planning
of the invasion of Iraq in such a way as to risk defeat in detail in
many smaller actions.  They did this by denying to the ground
component commander (Mckiernan) the forces that he
reasonably and prudently requested and by "nickel and diming"
him endlessly in such a way that the forces involved were still
minimal and barely adequate.  The success of these forces is not
an indication of whether or not the force was adequate in
strength.  The additional risk assumed by fielding too small a
force placed the troops involved at risk.
- Those charged insisted on assuming in pre-invasion planning
that Iraqi resistance would be minimal and that the coalition
invasion force would be met with "open arms" rather than IEDs
by the Iraqi populace.  This foolish and willfully blind
assumption caused the death or wounding of many American
soldiers.  Many experts tried to tell the accused that their
assumption was wrong but they would not listen.
- Those charged insisted on disestablishing the public
institutions of Iraq; the army, the police, the civil service, etc. 
These actions were taken against the advice of US Army and
USMC senior officers on the ground who were in the process of
sorting out which units and commanders could be used to re-
establish public order.  Considerable progress had been made. 
These disestablishments drove many Iraqi officers and men into
the various insurgent groups where they formed a hard core of
competence that killed and wounded many American soldiers.
- Those charged refused to accept the plain and abundant
evidence present in the first two years of the war that what was
faced by the coalition was nothing less than a full-blown
national resistance insurgency.  By so refusing, they caused US
forces to operate in an inadequate planning environment that
exposed US soldiers to much greater risks than might otherwise
have been the case.
- Those accused encouraged the use of brutal and illegal
methods of interrogation of prisoners.  This was done in spite of
US doctrine and law that specifically forbade such conduct.  Was
this not a crime against the souls of the junior soldiers
encouraged and pressured to do such things?

"We've learned Michael Jackson was not the biological father of any of his children. And Debbie Rowe is not the biological mother of the two kids she bore for Michael. All three children were conceived in vitro -- outside the womb.

Multiple sources deeply connected to the births tell us Michael was not the sperm donor for any of his kids. Debbie's eggs were not used. She was merely the surrogate, and paid well for her services in the births of Michael Jr. and Paris.

In the case of Prince Michael II (the youngest), we're told the surrogate was never told of the identity of the "receiving parent" -- Michael Jackson. Three days after Prince was born at Grossmont Hospital in San Diego County, Jackson's lawyer came to the hospital to pick the baby up and deliver him to Michael.

We do not know if Jackson chose the sperm or egg donors or if he even knew who they were.

Although Rowe is not the biological mother, it's not a slam dunk that she would lose a custody battle. This type of case has never been litigated in California courts. Since Rowe was married to Jackson when Michael Jr. and Paris were born, there's a presumption that she's the biological parent. That presumption can be rebutted by other evidence.

We know there are documents outlining the whole arrangement for the birth of all three kids. Nonetheless, it's still an open issue with the courts."

"Jackson Riddled with Injection Marks"

Multiple sources tell TMZ Michael Jackson's body had dozens of injection sites all over his body.

As we first reported, Propofol, a powerful anesthesia, was found in the house after Jackson died. Various medical experts tell us there is absolutely no medical justification for Jackson to have had this drug in his home -- it is used to knock people out before surgery. It is administered through an IV.

We're told Jackson wanted the drug to sleep and that he had cravings for anesthesia -- whenever he had even the most minor medical procedure ... he had the doctor put him under.

It is increasingly looking like Propofol may have caused Jackson to go into cardiac arrest and die. The doctors we spoke with say it's reckless for any doctor to supply Jackson with Propofol and especially reckless to administer it to him at home.

The fact that Jackson had dozens of injection sites on his body would have made it clear to any doctor that Jackson had a drug problem.

Criminal manslaughter is defined as the reckless disregard for human life. The talk in law enforcement -- this case seems to fit the bill.
